Mt Aconcagua - South America
Aconcagua is the highest mountain in the Americas. It is located in the Andes mountain range, in the Argentine province of Mendoza. Aconcagua is the highest peak in the Western and Southern Hemispheres, as well as the highest outside of Asia.
Rex Summited Mt Aconcagua on the 21st of September 2006. He solo climbed the peak via the standard route. This marked the completion of Rex’s bid to become the Youngest Australian to climb all Seven Summits of the world. At the time Rex was 2nd youngest person in the world top complete the quest.
